I can just do my return online for free, why should I see you?
You're more than welcome to do your return online, we often recommend clients with very simple returns to do so. However, there are many deductions that most people don't realise they're able to claim. We offer a comprehensive service that will save you a headache while maximising your return.

Can you complete my return when I'm not there?
Yes, phone appointments are a convenient way to get the best result if you're unable to be here in person. If you absolutely have no time, we can also complete them via email. Just note that during July and August we see clients all day so there may be a delay with email jobs.

I've never had my tax done... I have a few years to do... I think... I just don't know...
Don't worry, if you're unsure of the process we'll ease you into it. We're able to check what years you haven't done and get it all straightened up.

I'm a wage earner, am I guaranteed a refund?
If you had only one job and no other sources of income you will typically receive a refund. However, factors such as private health insurance, multiple jobs and incorrectly filled out TFN declarations (the form provided when you start a new job) will increase the chance of you leaving with a bill.

My partner and I have joint finances, do we need to come in together?
No you don't. It makes the process slightly easier, but it's not required.

How long will it take to receive my refund?
The ATO has advised that refunds will be processed within 12 working days, with the first payments being made on the 20th of July. However, if there are delays please be patient. We're unable to do anything until 28 days have passed.

I received mail from the ATO telling me I'll be fined, PLEASE HELP!
Fear mongering is the ATO's best tactic and look, it's working!! Don't worry, they rarely act on this but make an appointment and we'll be able to address any issues you have in person.

I'm receiving emails from the ATO, it's really worrying me!
IGNORE THEM!! If you're receiving emails asking you to pay a tax debt, it's most likely a sneaky fraudster. If you're still unsure, make an appointment and we can address any issues you have in person.
